Frequently asked questions

What time is your Sunday worship service?
We have two worship services each Sunday, both held in the church hall. Our 8:30 a.m. service is in Tamil Language. Our 10:30 a.m. is in English language. At times we hold a common service at 9:00 a.m. to unite both congregations. We welcome visitors from any backgrounds for these services, without regard to culture, caste, religion, gender or race.
When is the communion service held?
Both services (English & Tamil) offer the celebration of communion every 1st Sunday of the month. Anyone who claims to believe Jesus as the only Savior and Lord are welcomed to participate.
What do you offer for babies and toddlers?
Currently we encourage parents to undertake the responsibility of young children. Upon request, the facilities leader can make necessary arrangements.
What kind of things do you do in your worship service?
We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Crossroad East. We greet each other so everyone feels welcomed; we share announcements and church news; we sing along with the worship team; we share the congregation’s joys and concerns and lift them to God in prayer; we read the Bible and talk about it through the sermon; we collect an offering to further God’s work; and we take communion on a monthly basis.
